You can get your business started, but then you can end up setting it completely aside, if some kind of unexpected challenge takes place in your life.
You can get started in one company only to decide that you would rather work for a different direct selling company. Consider how many people you have tried to recruit, or have successfully recruited, who tried selling another Direct Selling or Network Marketing company’s products before yours.
Another scenario, just as common is that a good number of Direct Sellers and Network Marketers have stopped their business only to realize that they want to get it going again.
When you change your mind about something it can be embarrassing – not always but sometimes, and especially if you change your mind about something somewhat significant like a job or a business opportunity.
Consider some of the negative things your friends and family might think if you start selling an additional or another product line:

Have you ever gone to bed thinking that tomorrow you will make all those follow-up calls that you were too busy to make today? I bet that you have. Then, of course, the morrow arrives, and low and behold, you find yourself just too dang busy again to make those calls (Chances are you made sure you were too busy to make calls).
One of the major reasons that salespeople procrastinate on making follow-up calls is because they do not want their customers to view them as pests. It is all well and good to think about making follow-up calls as you drift off to sleep; after all, you can imagine all your customers being thrilled to hear from you and saying yes to every one of your offers.
When you wake up the next morning, reality settles in as soon as you remember what you told yourself that you would do today. Suddenly, all the worries you harbored yesterday reappear, and you avoid the telephone at all costs. At the end of the day you tell yourself that you were just too busy.
